2013 Conference Dates announced!

As we wrap up Conference 2012, we want to announce dates for 2013! Book your time off for July 14 to 20, 2013.

We've had an incredible week here, full of happy surprises and inspiring moments. If you missed the reading at Clawhammer Letterpress, you missed a splendid evening of student works and music by Helen Austin and her daughter Daisy Squires. It could not have been more perfect.
The night before, we were treated with Sid Marty's rich voice, as he sang everything from Men at Work to his own creations. He was joined on stage by Gordon Sombrowski, who read a selection of his own work, including pieces from his debut book of short stories, What Echo Heard.
Aritha van Herk braved a power outage, which trapped her car in an underground garage, to deliver a superb and inspiring address at Knox United Church. The waning light filtered in through the church's stained glass and there was a quietness that can only happen when we are completely unplugged - no humming lights or appliances, only Aritha's lyrical voice.

We walk away from Conference 2012 armed with many good ideas and inspiration to carry us over to next summer. Join us July 14 - 20, 2013.
