Summer in Fernie makes for a great barbecue opportunity and at the Fernie Writers’ Conference we take full advantage of our location. The Opening Reception & Barbecue Social provides an opportunity for students & instructors to meet each other in an informal setting. The evening will also feature a musical performance from Conference stalwart Sid Marty, and a reading from past participant Gordon Sombrowski.
